MintSeat is operated by Solmare Group LLC ("MintSeat," "we," "us," or "our"). This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, disclose, and protect your information when you use our website at mintseat.co and our related services (collectively, the "Platform").

By using the Platform you agree to the collection and use of information in accordance with this policy.

1. Information We Collect

Information you provide directly

• Account registration information — name, email address, phone number
• Payment information — processed and stored by Stripe, Inc. We do not store your full card number or bank account details
• Ticket listing information — event details, seat information, pricing
• Communications — messages you send to us via email or support channels
• Waitlist submissions — email addresses submitted through our waitlist forms

Information collected automatically

• Usage data — pages visited, features used, time spent on the Platform
• Device information — browser type, operating system, IP address
• Cookies and similar tracking technologies — see Section 6 below
• Transaction data — ticket purchases, sales, and platform activity

Information from third parties

• Payment processors — Stripe, Inc. provides transaction confirmation and payment status
• Identity verification — where applicable, third-party identity verification services
• Blockchain data — public transaction data on the XRP Ledger associated with platform activity

2. How We Use Your Information

We use the information we collect to:

• Create and manage your account
• Process ticket transactions and facilitate payments between buyers and sellers
• Communicate with you about your account, transactions, and platform updates
• Provide customer support
• Detect and prevent fraud, abuse, and security incidents
• Comply with legal obligations
• Improve and develop our Platform and services
• Send marketing communications where you have opted in
• Calculate and route royalty payments to registered rights holders

3. How We Share Your Information

Service providers

We share information with third-party vendors who help us operate the Platform, including payment processors (Stripe), cloud infrastructure providers (Cloudflare), and email service providers. These providers are contractually required to protect your information and use it only for the services they provide to us.

Transaction counterparties

When you complete a ticket transaction, certain information — such as your display name and delivery confirmation — is shared with the other party to facilitate the transaction.

Legal requirements

We may disclose your information when required by law, court order, or government request, or when we believe disclosure is necessary to protect our rights, protect your safety or the safety of others, investigate fraud, or respond to a government request.

Business transfers

If MintSeat is acquired, merged, or sold, your information may be transferred as part of that transaction. We will notify you before your information is transferred and becomes subject to a different privacy policy.

Public blockchain data

Transaction data recorded on the XRP Ledger is public by the nature of blockchain technology. Wallet addresses and transaction amounts associated with platform activity are publicly visible on the ledger.

3a. Email Ticket Parsing

When you forward a ticket confirmation email to list@tickets.mintseat.co, MintSeat processes that email to help you create marketplace listings. Here is exactly what we do and do not do with your email.

What we extract

• Game or event details — teams, date, time, venue
• Seating information — section, row, seat number
• Face value price, if stated in the email
• Your email address — used only to send you the review link

What we do NOT access or store

• Ticket barcodes or QR codes
• Account passwords or login credentials
• Payment information or credit card details
• Any other emails in your inbox
• Personal information beyond what is in the forwarded email

How long we keep it

Draft listings created from your forwarded email are stored for 48 hours. If you do not confirm your listings within that window, all extracted data is automatically and permanently deleted. Confirmed listings retain only the game and seating details necessary to display your listing on the marketplace. Your email address is retained only to send transaction notifications such as sale confirmations and payout receipts. You may opt out at any time by emailing hello@mintseat.co.

AI processing

Email content is processed by Anthropic's Claude AI to extract structured ticket data. This processing is governed by Anthropic's data handling policies. Email content is not used to train AI models. We do not share your email content with any other third party.

Your control

You can request deletion of all data derived from your forwarded emails at any time by emailing hello@mintseat.co with the subject line "Delete My Data." We will confirm deletion within 5 business days.

4. Data Retention

We retain your information for as long as your account is active or as needed to provide services. We retain transaction records for a minimum of seven years to comply with tax and financial recordkeeping requirements. You may request deletion of your account data subject to legal retention requirements.

5. Your Rights and Choices

Depending on your location, you may have the following rights regarding your personal information:

• Access — request a copy of the personal information we hold about you
• Correction — request correction of inaccurate or incomplete information
• Deletion — request deletion of your personal information, subject to legal retention requirements
• Portability — request your data in a portable format
• Opt-out — opt out of marketing communications at any time via the unsubscribe link in any email
• Do Not Sell — we do not sell your personal information to third parties

6. Cookies

We use cookies and similar technologies to operate the Platform, remember your preferences, and analyze usage. You can control cookies through your browser settings. Disabling certain cookies may affect Platform functionality.

• Analytics cookies — help us understand how the Platform is used
• Preference cookies — remember your settings and preferences

7. Security

We implement industry-standard security measures including encryption in transit (TLS), secure payment processing through Stripe's PCI-compliant infrastructure, and access controls on our systems. No method of transmission over the internet is 100% secure. We cannot guarantee absolute security but we are committed to protecting your information.

8. Children's Privacy

The Platform is not directed to children under 18. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided us with personal information, contact us at hello@mintseat.co and we will delete it promptly.

9. Third-Party Links

The Platform may contain links to third-party websites. We are not responsible for the privacy practices of those sites. We encourage you to review the privacy policies of any third-party sites you visit.

10. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of material changes by posting the new policy on this page and updating the effective date. Your continued use of the Platform after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
